Anabasis articulata

 

Description: Stems 10-30cm, persistent, branched, woody below; upper stem segments to 8 × 2mm. Leaves opposite, connate, and amplexicaul, forming a segment, 1-2mm. Five perianth segments winged; wing to 4 × 7mm, reniform-orbicular; staminodes villose.



Poison: None Known

Uses: Camel Fodder, Gum Production

Distribution: Algeria,  Egypt,  Israel and The Palestinian Territories,  Libya,  Morocco,  Sinai,  Spain,  Tunisia,
