Description: Annual, whole plant hairy. Stems 10-50cm, asending to erect, branched. Leaves linear tospoon-shaped. Flower stalks shorter than calyx; bracts 2 usually unequal. Calyx 11-13-(-17)mm, cylindrical, becoming broadly club shaped in fruit; teeth ovate, obtuse, densely bristly. Petal-limb 5-9mm, pink or white. Capsule 7-9mm, ovoid; Seeds 1-1.5mm, dark chestnut-brown. |
