If travelling to the herbarium by public transport, the easiest way is by bus from the centre of Reading. Routes 20 & 21 begin at Reading Station and come through the campus and exit via the Pepper Lane entrance (see map). The herbarium is closer to the peper lane stop than that in front of Whiteknights House. Route 9 can be caught to the main university entrance. Taxis are also available from Reading Station.
